Crowne Plaza beefs up menu.

MANAMA: The Crowne Plaza Bahrain has become the first hotel in the kingdom to be fully licensed to serve certified Angus beef in their restaurants and bars.

An agreement was signed between Crowne Plaza Bahrain executive assistant manager James Hewitson and Fine Foods representative Bradley Bigg.

The certified Angus beef programme was formed in 1978, allowing the American Angus Association to strengthen relationships between beef producers, packers and distributors.

Their goal was to provide assurances of beef quality and flavour for consumers.

"We are absolutely delighted to be the first hotel to sign up as a licensed certified Angus Beef establishment and we are extremely happy and impressed with the quality of the product and support we receive from both certified Angus Beef in the US and Fine Foods in Bahrain," said Mr Hewitson.
