Gustavo Alvarez has been promoted to operating officer and general manager of Crown Tampas (CT) and Petropar Embalagens (PPE), Crown's affiliates in Brazil through the joint venture with Petropar S.A.

Mr. Alvarez will succeed Silvio Partiti, who successfully led PPE and CT for two years and had been nominated chief financial officer and corporate director of Petropar S.A.

Mr. Alvarez has been involved with the plastic division since 1995 and is currently responsible for the management of plastic closures business.
