Crown to Acquire Iowa Riverboat.

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 12, 1996--Crown Casino Corporation (NASDAQ:DICE) today announced that it has entered into a definitive purchase agreement to acquire the assets and gaming operations of Mississippi Belle II, Inc. ("MBII") for a purchase price of $40 million.

The MBII riverboat casino, located in Clinton, Iowa, has been owned and operated by the Kehl family, and has been profitable since its opening in June of 1991. The MBII riverboat contains 485 slot machines, 20 table games, and has on-board dining and entertainment facilities. In connection with the agreement, Crown has entered into employment agreements with certain members of the Kehl family whereby MBII's existing management will continue to operate the Clinton facility. Closing of the transaction is subject to certain conditions including obtaining the approval of the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission.

Edward R.
