Crown Resources Corporation Calls $1.655 Million of Its Convertible Secured Notes for Redemption.

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 21, 2003

Crown Resources Corporation announced today that it has issued a redemption notice (the "Notice") for $1,655,333 of its Crown Resources Corporation and Crown Resource Corp. of Colorado 10% Convertible Secured Notes due October 2006 (the "Notes").  of $1,690,254 (which represents $1,655,333 in principle and $34,921 of interest through December 31, 2003).

The Notes may be converted into shares of Crown common stock at any time prior to the close of business on December 30, 2003, by delivering the Notes to Crown's offices at 4251 Kipling St., Suite 390, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. If the Notes are not delivered to Crown's office by that time, the right of conversion will terminate.

Crown anticipates that a majority of the holders of the Notes will elect to convert their Notes. If all of the Notes converted, Crown would issue approximately 4,729,523 shares of common stock.
