Crown Laboratories appoints Peter W. Frank, Ph.D., Director of Technical Affairs.

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 2, 1996--Crown Laboratories Inc. (AMEX EC:CLL), which intends to produce and package specialty and dietary products, recently announced the appointment of Peter W. Park, Ph.D. to the position of Director of Technical Affairs managing the Research and Development, Quality Control and Quality Assurance functions.

"Dr. Park's extensive background in protein and lipid research will provide us with the technical and research expertise necessary to develop additional breakthrough products with distinctive nutritional and taste advantages," said Craig Nash, Crown Laboratories Inc. chief executive officer.

Park has more than 15 years of experience in food and nutritional research. He joins Crown Laboratories from Mead Johnson Nutritional Group at Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. where he was a Senior Research Scientist contributing to lipid and protein technology development for milk-based and soy protein-based nutritional products.

Previously, Park spent eight years in research at Texas A&M University and the University of Minnesota.

Park has earned his Ph.D. in Food Science at the University of Minnesota, a Masters in Food Science at Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea and a B.S. in Food Technology from Konkuk University in Seoul.
