Nickel Belt is an informal nickname for the Sudbury region in Northern Ontario, because of the belt of nickel ore deposits found in the area. to the Measured and Indicated Mineral Resource categories, which would be used to proceed with a feasibility study "A Feasibility Study" is an episode of the original The Outer Limits television show. It first aired on 13 April, 1964, during the first season. It was remade in 1997 as part of the revived The Outer Limits series with a minor title change. (refer to Figure 1 Location Map). The initial work by Crowflight in 2004-2005 will include the following : - a compilation of the existing data to produce a 3D model of the known mineralization Mineralization The process by which the body uses minerals to build bone structure. Mentioned in: Rickets mineralization, n the bioprecipitation of an inorganic substance. , - outlining a detailed surface and underground diamond drilling Diamond Drilling is a highly specialized industry used for mineral exploration around the world. Most commonly using wireline and core bits with diamond encrusted matrix. Metals content and distribution, - Initiating preliminary mine planning and economic analysis for an underground project. The work is expected to commence in September 2004 and be completed by the second quarter 2005. Crowflight's. Rick Adams Rick Adams may refer to:
GEOLOGICA Inc. of Montreal is currently completing a NI43-101 report for the Bucko Deposit, and it will be available shortly on Crowflight's website at www.crowflight.com and under Crowflight Minerals Inc. on the SEDAR SEDAR System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval SEDAR Southeast Data, Assessment, and Review website at www.sedar.com. The report will summarize the historical work and results to date, as well as details of the planned work program. 2004-2005 Program at the Bucko Deposit The initial discovery hole at Bucko Lake was drilled by Consolidated Marbenor in 1961 - M77B intersected 1.54% Nickel over 6.3 metres. Falconbridge acquired the property in 1962, and conducted numerous ground geophysical surveys and 51 surface diamond drill holes for 20,725 metres (in 1964) to a -610 metre vertical depth. Between 1970 and 1972, Falconbridge excavated a three compartment shaft to -357 metres below surface and completed 1,067 metres of drifting on the 1000 Level (at -305 metre depth). This was followed by 12,690 metres of diamond drilling in 61 underground holes at between 30 and 50 metres spacing. Nickel mineralization was intersected in drilling within an ultramafic ul·tra·maf·ic adj. Ultrabasic. ultramafic Containing mainly mafic minerals. There are 4 Nickel-sulphide lenses, three of which have been followed (by surface diamond drilling in 1990) to a vertical depth of nearly -890 metres. The Nickel sulphide mineralization (contained in pyrrhotite-pentlandite) appears as net-textured and disseminated sulphides, typically containing 0.5 to 2.5% Nickel, and within stringers and massive sulphides, typically containing 10 to 15% Nickel. A number of separate resource estimates were done by Falconbridge between 1968 and 2000 for the Bucko Deposit using different combinations of surface and underground diamond drill holes and parameters. The most widely used historical resource estimate for the Bucko Deposit was estimated in 1992 (prior to NI 43-101) at 2.5 million tonnes grading 2.23% Nickel and 0.17% Copper included within a global resource of 19 million tonnes grading 1% Nickel. In the opinion of Mr. Alain-Jean Beauregard, Geol., of GEOLOGICA Inc. of Montreal, an independent Qualified Person under NI 43-101 who has reviewed the data and estimation procedures, as outlined in a letter to the Company dated August 19, 2004, the historical resource (both higher grade and global resource) would be reportable as an Inferred Mineral Resource under the guidelines of NI 43-101. Two scoping studies were previously completed for the Bucko Deposit : - A 1994 study by Falconbridge, in a report titled Bucko Lake Project, 1994 Pre-Feasibility Study, June 1994, by Francois Pronovost, Falconbridge Project Engineer, for a combined open pit and underground mining operation, and - A 2001 study by Nuinsco Resources Limited/Micon, in a report titled Review of the Mineral Resources, infrastructure and Operating Plans of the Bucko Lake Nickel Project, March 2001, by Micon international Limited, for a strictly underground mining operation. This study relied on a report titled Resource Estimate of the Bucko Lake Property, Northern Manitoba, by Roscoe Postle Associates Inc. dated June 2000. Both studies will serve as guidelines for work program and preliminary economic analysis. Crowflight's Sudbury exploration team under Peter Karelse, P. Geo., will undertake the geological work portion of the study, whereas Rick Adams, P. Eng., will supervise the engineering work. The Bucko Deposit forms part of the recently optioned 190 square kilometre property package located in the Wabowden segment of the Thompson Nickel Belt (TNB TNB Tenaga Nasional Berhad (electric power utility in Malaysia) TNB Tacoma Narrows Bridge TNB Thomas and Betts TNB Trinitrobenzene TNB Télévision Nationale du Burkina (Burkina Faso) ), located 100 kilometres south of Inco's producing mines of Thompson and Birchtree. Both operations yielded more than 100 million pounds of Nickel in 2003 along the same mineralized min·er·al·ize v. min·er·al·ized, min·er·al·iz·ing, min·er·al·iz·es v.tr. 1. Crowflight and Falconbridge are focussed on outlining significant Nickel mineralization in the Measured and Indicated Mineral Resource categories on all the properties that have the potential to advance to reserves in the relatively short term at the known historical occurrences (at Bucko and Bowden) and from new targets.
