Crowflight Initiates Exploration on Joint Venture Properties in Thompson Nickel Belt With Falconbridge.

TORONTO -- CROWFLIGHT MINERALS INC. (TSX Venture:CML) and its joint venture partner Falconbridge Limited have initiated a major exploration program at the Bowden Lake, Halfway Lake and Resting Lake properties in the Thompson Nickel Belt (refer to the appended Location Map). These properties are part of a large land package surrounding Crowflight's Bucko Deposit.

Crowflight has an exclusive right to earn a 50% interest from Falconbridge in these Properties. The Noranda/Falconbridge exploration team, led by Robin Adair, P. Geo., is managing the exploration program on behalf of Crowflight, under the overall guidance of a Joint Venture Committee. The Noranda/Falconbridge exploration group is recognized world wide for its innovative technologies and unique approach to finding Nickel, and has worked in some of the largest Nickel Camps in the world, including Sudbury, Thompson and Raglan.

The entire property package under option by Crowflight covers more than 190 km2 of prime Mining Leases and Claims located in the Wabowden segment of the Thompson Nickel Belt. Falconbridge spent over C$ 15 million on these claims since the 1960's and intersected several Nickel-rich zones. Inco, the World's largest Nickel company, currently operates two mines (Thompson and Birchtree) within the same Belt with annual production of more than 100 million pounds of Nickel and has existing reserves of 34 million tonnes grading 2.19% Nickel and 0.15% Copper. This Belt has already yielded an estimated 4.5 billion pounds of Nickel.

The 2004-2005 exploration program will consist of the following elements:

- Data compilation, field mapping and sampling, core re-sampling and assaying, and surveying of drill hole collars, to verify and validate the historical database,

- Outlining a major surface diamond drill program for the Bowden Lake Property to explore for new higher grade resources at the Bowden Deposit and M11A Target, as well as the Halfway Lake and Resting Lake properties, following up on historical and new Nickel targets. Approximately 15,000 meters in drilling is planned at this time for the first quarter 2005, with about 10,000 meters exclusively for the Bowden Deposit,

- A MegaTEM airborne geophysical survey over the entire 190 km2 Thompson Nickel Belt property package, that includes the Bucko Deposit. The objective of the deep penetrating Electromagnetic survey is to define potential Thompson-style massive and/or stringer  sulphides,

The Exploration Claims offer excellent Nickel potential. The Bowden Lake Property hosts the Bowden Deposit with its historical resources (prior to NI 43-101 standards) of 88 million tonnes at 0.63% Nickel. In the opinion of Mr. A.-J. Beauregard, P. Geol., of GEOLOGICA Inc., an independent Qualified Person under NI 43-101 who has reviewed the geological data, resources models and estimation procedures of the Bowden and nearby Bucko deposits, the historical resources at the Bowden Deposit would be reportable as an Inferred Mineral Resource under the guidelines of NI 43-101.

"The primary objective of the 2004-2005 program is to identify significant Nickel, Copper and Platinum Group Metals resources on the Exploration Claims,", stated Robin Adair, Exploration Manager -Nickel (North America), for Noranda/Falconbridge. "We hope to identify new higher Nickel grade which are commonly associated with the type of mineralization and structures encountered at Bowden and Halfway Lake."

Historical perspective of the Bowden, Halfway and Resting Lake Properties

Bowden Property

There are two known Nickel occurrences on the Bowden Lake Property, excluding the Bucko Deposit - the Bowden Deposit and M11A Target. The Bowden Deposit was initially detected in 1962 by an airborne INPUT geophysical survey. Previous work at Bowden Lake by Falconbridge between 1962 and 1995 consisted of ground geophysical surveys (magnetics, IP and seismic) and diamond drilling in the 1960's (61 drill holes totalling 23,410 metres). The historic drilling was widely spaced, with up to 225 metres spacing between drill holes in some areas. The Bowden Lake zone is hosted in one of the largest mineralized ultramafic bodies in the TNB, up to 150 metres wide by 900 metres long. At M11A, Falconbridge conducted numerous ground geophysical surveys (magnetics, AFMAG EM and IP) from 1959 onwards over the M11A ultramafic. Consolidated Marbenor Limited completed 46 diamond drill holes between 1959 and 1961, with Falconbridge subsequently drilling 11 in the 1960's. The M11A ultramafic can be traced for more than 4 kilometres in length, of which less than 2.5 km has been drill tested and this is only by widely spaced holes. Halfway Lake

Previous work by Falconbridge between 1960 and 1970 on the original Halfway Lake claims comprised of ground geophysics followed by 36 drill holes testing shallow targets. Between 1994 and 1996, Falconbridge completed a regional airborne Geotem EM survey and ground geophysics (magnetics and HLEM), followed by 13 diamond drill holes focused on a mineralized ultramafic. Resting Lake

Previous work conducted at Resting Lake included ground geophysics surveys between 1964 and 1984 that outlined 6 zones of variable Nickel content, which was followed by 56 diamond drill holes in the 1960's. One drill hole intersection is of significance at Resting Lake, from LR-73-29 which gave 1.6% Nickel over a 13.8 metre core length, roughly the true thickness. A 200 metre long mineralized ultramafic was intersected.

Crowflight is a Canadian junior mining exploration company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange focused on Nickel, Copper and Platinum Group Minerals exploration in the Thompson Nickel Belt and Sudbury Basin.
