CrossWorlds Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: CWLD), an e-business integration platform provider, and i2 Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ITWO), the leading provider of intelligent e-business and marketplace solutions, today announced a technology partnership. The partnership positions CrossWorlds as an integration solution provider for i2 customers using TradeMatrix(TM). In addition, CrossWorlds is joining i2's TradeMatrix Network Open API program. The i2 and CrossWorlds partnership is intended to enable customers to efficiently establish business-to-business marketplaces and allow integration to current enterprise applications, along with various trading partners.

i2's TradeMatrix allows businesses to create both private and public marketplaces, while improving the efficiencies of all participants with content and solutions to support decision optimization for key functions including design, buy, plan, sell, fulfill and service. The solution being developed by CrossWorlds is aimed at providing e-marketplaces with the platform and tools to reduce the time involved in implementing and integrating TradeMatrix with other back-end systems, as well as trading partner systems.
