Fifty-eight artists who are also alumni of Central Washington university participated in a memorable exhibition in April 2007 and held simultaneously at the Sarah Spurgeon Gallery on campus and in downtown Ellensburg, Washington, at the Gallery One Visual Arts Center. Represented in "Crossroads and Connections: Central Washington University Art Alumni Exhibition" and reproduced in full color are works from sculptors, painters, photographers, graphic designers, fiber and ceramic artists, metal smiths, professors, teachers, and graduate art students from 1954 through 1979. Informed and informative, each featured artist is provided with a succinct biographical and/or professional summary--along with their class year designation. A superbly produced, organized and presented art catalog, "Crossroads and Connections" is a model of such publications and would well serve as a template for similar projects by other university art department and alumni associations.
