Crossbow Strengthens Its Management and Leadership Team; Vice President of Wireless Engineering and Chief Architect of Advanced Wireless Platforms Add Experienced Networking Executive and Wireless Sensor Network Pioneer to the Company.

Li joins Crossbow from Hitachi Communications where he was serving as Chief Technology Officer for Salira Systems, its Gigabit Ethernet Passive Optical Network Division. He has been working in the areas of computer networking, telephony, and digital circuit design and testing for over fifteen years including Sr. Engineering Management positions at Cisco and Nortel. Li has been a contributor to ATM Forum, Frame Relay Forum, and IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, New York, www.ieee.org) A membership organization that includes engineers, scientists and students in electronics and allied fields. . At Crossbow, Rick will drive the overall engineering organization including the award winning MoteWorks platform for Wireless Sensor Networks.

Dr. Kling joins Crossbow from Intel Corp. where he was serving as Director of Sensor Network Operation and Principal Engineer. Ralph is a well respected pioneer in the wireless sensor network market and has focused in the past years on low power wireless system design and networking. He has an extensive background in Computer Architecture and holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Early years: 1867-1880
