New Resource Designed to Broaden Customer and Partner Access To

CrossWorlds' Development Tools, Products and Expertise

CrossWorlds Software, Inc., a leading provider of e-business infrastructure software, today announced the CrossWorlds Exchange initiative. The CrossWorlds Exchange is designed to provide CrossWorlds' customers and partners with an expanded breadth of integration products, methodologies, implementation and development tools.

Through a subscription to the CrossWorlds Exchange, CrossWorlds' customers and partners can purchase reusable software components and tools and participate in a best-practices information exchange. Initially based on work CrossWorlds has done with customers and internally-developed methodologies, CrossWorlds will work with partners to include additional products, tools and methodologies through a revenue sharing revenue sharing

       --   Related training modules; and
       --   An integration information forum.


CrossWorlds will certify the CrossWorlds Exchange products, whether contributed by customers, partners or CrossWorlds client services, for compatibility with the CrossWorlds architecture. Starting in Q2 of this year, customers and partners will be able to access the products, tools and methodologies included in the CrossWorlds Exchange via a secure web site at www.crossworlds.com/exchange.

Using the CrossWorlds Exchange, customers can access an expanded selection of CrossWorlds products designed to help accelerate the time-to-market of their integration projects. Additionally, systems integrators can utilize additional tools, methodologies and training information that are designed to help optimize their work with CrossWorlds' solutions. Pricing and Availability

The CrossWorlds Exchange is available via an annual subscription-based pricing model for $50,000. The initial version of CrossWorlds Exchange Web site will debut at the start of Q2 2000, with software components, tools and integration modules added in subsequent quarters.
