CrossCheck President Appointed Chairman of ETA Membership Committee.

ROHNERT PARK, Calif. -- The Electronic Transaction Association (ETA) recently appointed J. David Siembieda chairman of ETA's Membership Committee. Siembieda is the president and CEO of CrossCheck, Inc., the nation's largest privately held check approval and guarantee company. As committee chairman, Siembieda will work with the committee and the association's leadership to identify and solicit prospective ETA members and develop new programs and events. The ETA is an international trade association serving the needs of organizations offering transaction processing products and services.

He previously held the position of Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and led CrossCheck to record-breaking sales and annual growth of more than 40 percent. He also served as CrossCheck's vice president of Consumer Relations and Legal Affairs. He is a member of the advisory board for "The Green Sheet," a financial services publication; is a member of the Infrared Data Association, an international organization dedicated to creating and promoting low-cost, infrared data transfer standards; and is a member of the Electronic Check Council for NACHA, the leading electronic payments association organization. Siembieda also serves on the boards of directors for the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts, the North Bay's largest community-supported non-profit performing and contemporary arts center and Solid Terrain Modeling, manufacturer of the world's most accurate 3-D solid terrain models. He has served on several ETA committees over the past few years and was the vice-chairman of the Membership committee last year.
