(NYSE: HPY) is a payroll service provider and the 6th largest credit card processor in the United States specializing in small to mid-sized restaurants and retail merchants. Under the terms of the agreement, CrossCheck will provide check authorization services, including electronic check conversion, to Heartland as part of Heartland's suite of payment services for merchants. Heartland Payment Systems provides credit and debit card debit card, card that allows the cost of goods or services that are purchased to be deducted directly from the purchaser's checking account.
