Attracting 70 to 80 senior managers of ChinaAEs top-tier wind-power firms, Taiwan Wind Energy Association chairman C.K. Liu said the conference aims to promote strategic alliances among the wind energy firms in Taiwan and China, achieving the sharing of business opportunities through resource integration and division of labor.

Liu noted wind-power is a promising renewable energy Renewable energy utilizes natural resources such as sunlight, wind, tides and geothermal heat, which are naturally replenished. Renewable energy technologies range from solar power, wind power, and hydroelectricity to biomass and biofuels for transportation.  industry that has attracted many firmsAE investments in Taiwan and China.

 says that the topics for the conference will include strategic and development planning, offshore wind-power business opportunities, and wind-power education and personnel interchange.

A study by the industry researcher EZCapital shows that 9% of the worldAEs total energy investments went to China last year, of which 15% was in wind-power or about US$34 billion, making China the worldAEs largest wind-power market.
