Cross-generational appeal.


WHEN I PURCHASED THE DECEMBER December: see month.  ISSUE OF BLACK ENTERPRISE at a local drug store the other day, the young, female, African American African American Multiculture A person having origins in any of the black racial groups of Africa. See Race.  clerk ringing up the sale remarked, "I need to buy this." She then told me she had read BLACK ENTERPRISE for many of her 18 years because she was inspired by seeing folks who looked like her really achieving things. I was taken aback because that is one of the principal reasons I read it, as well. No matter the generational difference, BLACK ENTERPRISE links us in many positive ways.

Also, thank you for profiling one of our true pioneers, J. Bruce Bruce, Scottish royal family descended from an 11th-century Norman duke, Robert de Brus. He aided William I in his conquest of England (1066) and was given lands in England.  Llewellyn Llew·el·lyn   , Richard 1906-1983.

Welsh-born British writer noted for his novel How Green Was My Valley (1940), a portrait of life in a Welsh mining village.
, who has been one of my idols for 30-plus years. Llewellyn has achieved remarkable success and is to be applauded. I have followed his success with great pride.
