Hundreds of students at Howell High School Howell High School may refer to at least two different schools:
  • Howell High School (Howell, Michigan) in Howell, Michigan
  • Howell High School (New Jersey) in Howell, New Jersey
 on May 10 held a sit-down demonstration outside the school to protest the suspensions of four classmates who painted over an antigay message on a rock on school property. Principal Margaret Hamill said the suspensions were actually for "love" messages the students had also spray-painted on nearby benches and sidewalks.
