Cross Match Technologies Names New EVP Of Worldwide Sales and Marketing to Accelerate Company Revenue Growth.

Cross Match Technologies, Inc., a leading global provider of fingerprint and palm print identification solutions, has announced the appointment of Paul J. Kayatta to Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing as part of the company's strategy to expand markets and accelerate sales growth.

Prior to joining Cross Match, Kayatta spent 24 years at IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries) , beginning his career as a Sales Representative and progressing through the ranks. His assignments included Channels Program Manager, Marketing Manager and Program Manager before he transitioned to Government Programs for 14 years, where he held senior level positions in sales and marketing, including Director of Federal Programs and Director of Defense Programs. He was responsible for revenue and profitability and grew his federal program revenue from $350 million to $970 million in three years. He also developed and implemented a strategic plan that resulted in contract awards valued at over $7 billion.
