Cross Match Technologies Announces Senior Staff Appointments to Manage Substantial Growth of Company.

Cross Match Technologies, Inc., a leading global provider of fingerprint and palm print identification solutions, has announced the appointments of Michael Brewer as Chief Financial Officer and Rob Gillette as Vice President of Software Engineering to assist in developing key infrastructure within this rapidly growing biometrics company. Cross Match was ranked Number 5 on Inc. magazine's 2003 list of the 500 fastest growing private companies, demonstrating revenue growth of 11,517% over the past five years. Cross Match has also been the key provider of fingerprint scanners to the Department of Homeland Security for the first phase of the US-VISIT program, one of the largest biometric implementations to date, which involves fingerprinting visa-carrying visitors to the United States.

Prior to joining Cross Match, Michael Brewer was instrumental in managing all of the financial functions at Boca Research, Inc. during a rapid period of growth when sales increased from $25 million to $150 million in three years. Also during this time, he was directly involved in company acquisitions, investment banking activity and investor relations. Prior to Boca Research, Inc., Brewer spent 17 years at Mitel Corporation, a $400 million public company, where he was VP of Finance and involved in the initiation of new divisions, the acquisitions of multiple companies, an initial public offering and a secondary offering in the US and Canada.

Gillette was also the original Senior Vice President of Engineering and product architect at Callidus Software, which recently went public with its Enterprise Incentive Management (EIM) software products. Gillette has also held senior management positions at Sybase, GlobalSight, Contel and Shoppers Express and has 24 years experience architecting and delivering software products and solutions into a variety of markets. His experience spans both large and small companies and includes software product development in the areas of enterprise and financial applications, business intelligence, content management, and telecommunications.
