(the "Company") is pleased to announce that assays for the massive-semi-massive sulphide sulphide: see sulfide. intersection intersection /in·ter·sec·tion/ (-sek´shun) a site at which one structure crosses another. intersection a site at which one structure crosses another. in Hole CLS (Common Language Specification) The structure and syntax of .NET and CLI programming languages. See .NET. 97-16 between 278 to 311 metres have yielded weighted average grades over 33 metres (108 feet) of 6.71 percent zinc (Zn), 1.86 percent lead (Pb), 106.95 grams/tonne or 3.12 oz/ton silver (Ag), 0.16 percent copper (Cu) and 55 ppb ppb abbr. parts per billion or 0.055 grams/tonne gold (Au), with a cut silver value of 10 oz/ton (342.8 grams/tonne). The gross metal value for this intersection is US$114.68 per ton using current prices. This includes a section from 281 to 287 metres (6 metres) containing a weighted average grade of 18.4 percent zinc, 314 grams/tonne silver (9.16 ounces/ton), 9.28 percent lead, and 0.69 percent copper, 0.183 grams/tonne gold giving a contained metal value of US$345.17 per ton at current prices (with silver assays cut to 10 ounces/ton). This zone is hosted in a cherty chert n. 1. A variety of silica that contains microcrystalline quartz. 2. A siliceous rock of chalcedonic or opaline silica occurring in limestone. [Origin unknown. rhyolite rhyolite, fine-grained light-colored acidic volcanic rock. Rhyolite is chemically the equivalent of granite, and is thus composed primarily of quartz and orthoclase feldspar with subordinate amounts of plagioclase feldspar, biotite mica, amphiboles, and pyroxenes. which stratigraphically overlies a sericite Ser´i`cite n. 1. (Min.) A kind of muscovite occuring in silky scales having a fibrous structure. It is characteristic of sericite schist. and chlorite chlorite Widespread group of layer silicate minerals composed of hydrous aluminum silicates, usually of magnesium and iron. The name, from the Greek for “green,” refers to chlorite's typical colour. schist schist (shĭst), metamorphic rock having a foliated, or plated, structure called schistosity in which the component flaky minerals are visible to the naked eye. zone containing cherty bands and disseminated disseminated /dis·sem·i·nat·ed/ (-sem´i-nat?ed) scattered; distributed over a considerable area. dis·sem·i·nat·ed adj. Spread over a large area of a body, a tissue, or an organ. sphalerite sphalerite (sfăl`ərīt, sfā`–), mineral composed of zinc sulfide, usually containing some iron and a little cadmium. It occurs in crystals of the isometric system but more generally in cleavable, compact masses. (zinc) with local galena galena (gəlē`nə) or lead glance, lustrous, blue-gray mineral crystallizing usually in cubes, sometimes in octahedrons. It is the most important ore and the principal source of lead. (lead). Assays for this section are attached. Additional mineralization Mineralization The process by which the body uses minerals to build bone structure. Mentioned in: Rickets mineralization, n the bioprecipitation of an inorganic substance. is present both above and below this massive sulphide section. Zinc mineralization continues below 311 metres in the hole associated with a rhyolite breccia breccia: see conglomerate. breccia Coarse sedimentary rock consisting of angular or nearly angular fragments larger than 0.08 in. (2 mm). Breccia commonly results from processes such as landslides or geologic faulting, in which rocks are fractured. (fragmental frag·men·tal adj. 1. Fragmentary. 2. Geology Consisting of broken rock, coal, or ore moved from its place of origin. frag·men ) and assays for this section along with other parts of this drill hole will be released when they are completed. Additionally, check assays are being conducted on a number of the samples. -0- ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS CROSS LAKE MINERALS LTD. "Henry G. Ewanchuk" Henry G. Ewanchuk Chairman
