Cross Lake Minerals: Second Phase of 1998 Drilling to Resume on Sheraton-Timmins Project.VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 22, 1998-- CROSS LAKE MIN Min (mĭn). 1 Chief river of Fujian prov., SE China, c.350 mi (560 km) long, rising in Wuyi shan and flowing SE to the South China Sea near Fuzhou; it receives several tributaries near Nanping. .(VSE See DOS/VSE. CROSS LAKE MINERALS LTD LTD 1 Laron-type dwarfism 2 Leukotriene D 3 Long-term depression, see there 4. Long-term disability . (the "Company") advises that, having completed a compilation and in- depth review of geophysical, geological and drilling data, the Company has scheduled the second phase of 1998 drilling on its 100 percent owned Sheraton-Timmins Project to commence on May 1, 1998. The program will initially test conductive down hole pulse electromagnetic (EM) targets. The Company has utilized several different methods of geophysics to better define the mineralized min·er·al·ize v. min·er·al·ized, min·er·al·iz·ing, min·er·al·iz·es v.tr. 1. To convert to a mineral substance; petrify. 2. To transform a metal into a mineral by oxidation. 3. systems. Pulse EM surveys identified the conductive (possible copper mineralization Mineralization The process by which the body uses minerals to build bone structure. Mise-a-la-Masse surveys have indicated that the mineralized zone extends to the northeast and appears to confirm the continuity of mineralization within the copper zone. Surface induced polarization (IP) and magnetic surveys were carried out which identified more new targets and extended the Cross Lake zone further to the southwest and northeast. Old government airborne INPUT EM data was re- interpreted which, in addition to confirming the Cross Lake zone anomaly, identified several untested EM and magnetic anomalies which provide attractive drill targets. An airborne EM and magnetic survey was also completed over the southern, previously unflown, portion of the property in Timmins Township. A report on this survey is pending. The hiatus in drilling has allowed the Company's technical team the opportunity to carry out geophysical work, compile data from previous drill programs, and analyse results in order to further understand the VMS (1) (Virtual Memory System) A multiuser, multitasking, virtual memory operating system for the VAX series from Digital. VMS applications run on any VAX from the MicroVAX to the largest unit. See OpenVMS. system and plan subsequent drill programs. ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS CROSS LAKE MINERALS LTD. Henry G.
