Croplan Genetics.

CROPLAN GENETICS, the seed division of Arden Hills, Minn.-based Land O'Lakes, Inc., has appointed Keith Newhouse, Ph.D., as business development manager. Newhouse has 15 years experience in the crop seed industry, including management positions with companies like Aventis and Garst. Newhouse will concentrate on building revenue streams with "end use" seeds such as identifying a hybrid feed source for swine producers, and standardizing channeling projects like marketing different grades of white corn for feed or industrial purposes.
