To move to or establish in a new place: relocated the business. v.intr. its corporate headquarters from Greenwich to Middlebury, CT by the end of 2002. Plans are to move personnel during the second half of 2002. Most of the 250-person Greenwich workforce will be offered positions in Middlebury. The company has had two principal offices in Connecticut since the merger of Crompton & Knowles and Witco created Crompton Corporation in September 1999.
