Crompton completes buy of GE chemicals.


Crompton Corp., Middlebury, Conn., has completed two transactions with General Electric Co. that were announced earlier this summer. They are produced in lower volume than bulk chemicals, of which petrochemicals, made from oil feedstocks, are the most common.
