Crompton Names Mary Ann Dunnell Vice President of Corporate and Investor Relations.

:CK), a $3.1 billion producer and marketer of specialty chemicals and polymer products, has appointed Mary Ann Dunnell vice president of corporate and investor relations Investor relations

The process by which the corporation communicates with its investors.
. In this newly created position, Ms. Dunnell is responsible for investor relations, public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment. By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most , internal communications, and community relations for Crompton, which operates 50 facilities in 20 countries.

"Ms. Dunnell is an integral part of our senior management team, developing and implementing a comprehensive and fully integrated company-wide communications strategy," stated Vincent A. Calarco, Crompton's chairman, president and chief executive officer. "We anticipate that her knowledge and experience will serve our company well, keeping all of our stakeholders informed about our objectives, strategies and accomplishments."

Ms. Dunnell joins Crompton from Robinson Lerer & Montgomery, LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol , a corporate communications consulting firm, where she was executive vice president in charge of the firm's investor relations practice. Before joining Robinson Lerer & Montgomery in 1994, she was vice president of Corporate Communications at Stolt-Nielsen Inc., a chemical products shipping firm.
