Crompton Names Full-Time Compliance Officer.

James A. Nortz, 42, has been named vice president, business ethics and compliance, effective immediately. He reports directly to Chairman, President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Vincent A. Calarco and to Crompton Board of Directors Audit Committee Chairman Bruce Wesson.

Nortz is responsible for developing and implementing corporate compliance programs and policies. He will work with senior managers and department heads to improve existing compliance systems and to develop and implement new compliance systems where needed. He also will implement and administer an online compliance training program.

Nortz received a bachelor's of science degree in mechanical engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY and received his Juris Doctor with honors from Dickinson School of Law In 2005 a dispute over whether or not to move the Dickinson School of Law to Penn State's University Park campus in State College, Pennsylvania led to a "dual campus" proposal being enacted.  in Carlisle, PA.
