Criticare Systems, Inc. Announces a Technology License to Nellcor Puritan Bennett.

MILWAUKEE -- CRITICARE SYSTEMS, INC. (AMEX:CMD). Criticare Systems, Inc. today announced it had reached an agreement with Nellcor Puritan Bennett Incorporated to provide a non-exclusive license for a patent held by Criticare Systems. The patent encompasses a signal processing technology developed by Criticare Systems. Specific financial and other terms were not disclosed.

Criticare Systems has a substantial library of proprietary and patent protected technology relating to vital signs monitoring. This has enabled the company to successfully develop a wide variety of instrumentation ranging from complex anesthetic agent monitoring to systems that can operate within the high intensity magnetic field of an MRI suite.
