OTTAWA -- GEmini(TM) Ethernet Remote DSLAM delivers non-blocking ADSL2+ bandwidth enabling applications such as Triple Play and IPTV 

Critical Telecom Corp. today announced the immediate availability of GEmini(TM), a highly scalable Ethernet Remote DSLAM. Based on the company's new generation architecture, GEmini is the first of a new class of product that is designed for the marriage of fiber and copper anywhere in the access network.

GEmini is the only Ethernet Remote DSLAM providing integrated GigE backhaul with a modular port scalability architecture. This flexible platform provides non-blocking ADSL2+ bandwidth using standards-based Gigabit Ethernet in a physically small shell that is environmentally hardened. Using standards-based Ethernet architecture and interfaces, GEmini ensures interoperability with existing Ethernet switches and routers. GEmini's processing engine has the power to enhance Layer 2 functionality with IP feature sets that enable intelligence to be distributed to the network edge when and where required minimizing stranded investment for future growth.

Not only are forklift upgrades eliminated and replaced with scalable, modular expansion, but the simplicity of the GEmini solution also means that installation time is minimized enhancing time to revenue.
