Tiscali to Offer its Pan-European Customers Wireless, Voice and

Web Access to Calendar, Address Book and Online File Sharing Services

Critical Path, Inc. (Nasdaq:CPTH), a global leader in digital communications software and services, today announced that Tiscali S.p.A., the Internet Communication Company, has selected the Critical Path(TM) Personal Information Management (PIM) Suite, including personal address book, calendar and file sharing, to provide its 7.3 million active users with wireless, voice and Web access to telephone numbers, email addresses, calendar events, to-do lists and other personal information.

Critical Path's messaging and identity management solutions are the foundation for many of Tiscali's innovative Internet Services. Tiscali powers its email service with the Critical Path(TM) Messaging Server and, in 2001, Tiscali enhanced its services with additional Critical Path offerings such as CP Directory Server(TM) for unified, authenticated access to all of Tiscali's latest services.

Tiscali also purchased the Critical Path Presentation Server(TM), which is unique in its ability to tie the messaging applications together and give users an integrated, uniform experience as they move between personal communications devices, from mobile phones, wireless PDAs, and laptops to personal computers.
