Critical Path Launches German Email Service for Chip Magazine; Over 90,000 Subscribers Will Be Offered Free Email Accounts at www.chip.de.


SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 22, 1998--CHIP Magazine, a leading computing computing - computer  magazine in the German computer market for over 20 years, and Critical Path, GmbH, a leading email services See Internet e-mail service.  provider, today announced the availability of free Web-based email Web-based email or webmail is a term referring to an e-mail service intended to be primarily accessed via a web browser, as opposed to through an application such as Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express, Mozilla's Thunderbird or Apple's Mail.  for CHIP Magazine subscribers.

The Web-based email interface developed by Critical Path has been customized for CHIP's readers. The accounts feature:
