Joint Solution Enables Eircell Customers to Access Messages --

Critical Path Inc. (Nasdaq: CPTH), the dominant global provider of business-to-business Internet messaging and collaboration solutions, today announced its Internet messaging and directory components will provide the basis for the Internet services offered by Eircell, Ireland's leading mobile phone operator. Eircell, which is insourcing Critical Path's messaging solution, will offer its unified mail service called Message Bank to its more than one million customers.

With Eircell's Message Bank, which is based on Critical Path's message store and directory components, customers can access all of their messages - email, voicemail, and fax - via the Internet from any Web browser. This brings the customer the benefit of a single service, and easy access to messages whether at home, in the office, or on the road. For enterprises - especially those in the small-to-medium sector - it is beneficial to have a single point of billing and management for what are currently separate services. For Internet service providers, unified messaging is another way to attract new customers and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
