Remember James Lee Witt James Lee Witt (born January 6, 1944) was Director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) during the administration of President Bill Clinton.

Witt was born in Paris, Arkansas, and was raised in Dardanelle, in Yell County, Arkansas.

He was the Arkie who headed the Federal Emergency Management Agency The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is the federal agency responsible for coordinating emergency planning, preparedness, risk reduction, response, and recovery. The agency works closely with state and local governments by funding emergency programs and providing technical  under President Bill Clinton and often thought to be one of his finest appointments

Well, he now is head of James Lee Witt Associates LLC (Logical Link Control) See "LANs" under data link protocol.

, a crisis management and public safety firm he started in Washington in 2001.

The firm recently landed a major contract from the government of the Cayman Islands Cayman Islands (kā`mən), British dependency (2005 est. pop. 44,300), 100 sq mi (259 sq km), comprising three islands in the West Indies.  to assist in their long-term economic recovery plans after the area was devastated dev·as·tate

The Witt team will focus on organizing resources around critical functional areas, including mass care, housing, health, utility infrastructure and securing supplies and resources needed to speed the recovery, process.
