Here are the monthly reports of crimes taken by Eugene police. Overall statistics on the number of property crimes, person crimes and behavioral crimes are published every four months and breakdowns of crimes in each of those categories are published in rotation in the intervening months.

Property crimes include offenses such as burglary, theft, forgery/fraud and vandalism The intentional and malicious destruction of or damage to the property of another.

The intentional destruction of property is popularly referred to as vandalism. It includes behavior such as breaking windows, slashing tires, spray painting a wall with graffiti, and

Person crimes include offenses such as homicide homicide (hŏm`əsīd), in law, the taking of human life. Homicides that are neither justifiable nor excusable are considered crimes. A criminal homicide committed with malice is known as murder, otherwise it is called manslaughter. , rape, robbery, assault, sex offenses A class of sexual conduct prohibited by the law.

Since the 1970s this area of the law has undergone significant changes and reforms. Although the commission of sex offenses is not new, public awareness and concern regarding sex offenses have grown, resulting in the
