Cricket facility upgrade.

World Cup Barbados Inc. plans to redevelop the Kensington Oval Cricket Facility in Bridgetown, Barbados to host various international cricket matches including the Final of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Cricket World Cup in 2007. The works (construction cost of US$31.5 Million) will be carried out in phases with breaks to allow for the playing of international cricket during April and May 2005, April 2006 and February to May 2007. The bid deadline is Jan. 7, 2005, but tender documents were only made available between Nov. 8 and Nov. 15, 2004, which casts doubt on the transparency of the situation.
