Cricket chiefs' spelling boob.


LAST week the England and Wales Cricket Board The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is the governing body of cricket in England and Wales.  were quick to express their horror at the chilling prospect of live Ashes cricket at some point returning to free telly.

Following the recommendation by a review panel that home Ashes Tests be added to the list of sporting crown jewels that must be screened free-to-air, the ECB See electronic code book.  fired off a furious statement.

It included the line: "We also call for the Seceretary of State to pay careful attention to the evidence put forward by the BBC BBC
 in full British Broadcasting Corp.

Publicly financed broadcasting system in Britain. A private company at its founding in 1922, it was replaced by a public corporation under royal charter in 1927.
 that they do not think the Ashes should be listed due to the impact it could have on the sport's finances."

'Seceretary of State'? Stud Marks wonders how seriously ECB chairman Giles Clarke would take the views of an organisation which, within its lobbying of him, failed to spell his title correctly.
