Cricket: We won't relax now, vows Hayden.

MATTHEW Hayden Matthew Lawrence Hayden (born 29 October, 1971 in Kingaroy, Queensland to Laurence and Moya Hayden) is an Australian and Queensland cricketer.

Hayden (nicknames: Haydos, Unit
has revealed Australia's great desire to reclaim the Ashes by ignoring their impressive start to the series and starting from scratch in the second Test.

Australia were so dominant during the opening Test at the Gabba they could perhaps be forgiven for relaxing and enjoying their performance during the 277-run triumph.

But opening batsman Hayden and the rest of the Australian squad have quickly moved on from their outstanding opening Test display and are focussing firmly on the next challenge at the Adelaide Oval The Adelaide Oval is a sports stadium in Adelaide, South Australia. It is located between the central business district and North Adelaide and has a history which dates back to the 1870s. .

"We remained incredibly focussed throughout our performance in the last Test and we enjoyed the way we played our Test-match cricket - it was hungry and ruthless, it was everything that Australia had promised during the 14 months," said Hayden.

"We remain in that state of mind as well and we expect nothing less of ourselves going into the next four Test matches.

"It was a good Test-match win but to me our attitude remains that we are second still. It's carried us through for 14 months that we've got a point to prove.

"We have a hungry mentality and an unquenchable thirst still within our grasp and we want to make sure we continue that process on throughout this series."

While Hayden is backing spin kin Shane Warne Shane Keith Warne (born 13 September 1969) is an international Australian cricketer, generally regarded as one of the greatest bowlers ever [1]. In 2000, he was selected by a panel of cricket experts as one of the five Wisden Cricketers of the Century.  to bounce back after a below-par display in Brisbane, he is equally wary about England spearhead Steve Harmison Stephen James Harmison MBE (born 23 October 1978, Ashington, Northumberland) is an England cricketer, and a leading Test match fast bowler. He plays county cricket for Durham. With his height (6'4") he can extract pace and bounce from most pitches.  rediscovering his form over the next five days after a dismal opening Test.

Harmison has undergone intensive work with bowling coach Kevin Shine Kevin James Shine (born February 22, 1969, in Bracknell, Berkshire, England) is a former first-class cricketer and former coach of Somerset County Cricket Club, and the fast-bowling coach for the England cricket team.  over the last couple of days and Hayden believes Australia should beware the response during the coming Test.

"The thing about batting is that it's such a reactive game," said Hayden. "He probably doesn't think he bowled as well as he could have, but as far as the batting side goes you can only bat as well as they bowl.

"The fact is that he's still a key part of their side. We understand that and we know that he can click and bowl well."
