ONE bet which may interest spread punters on the latest round of championship matches is a sell of Somerset at 12 with two firms on the 25:10:0 index for their clash against Essex, writes Ed Hawkins.

The match looks likely to be a draw, but a sell of the hosts is only for big-hitters.

The Taunton pitch is the best for batting in the country and both outfits have men to occupy the crease. Jamie Cox is an Aussie run machine while James Hildreth is one for the future. Essex's batsmen are in form after amassing more than 700 in their last

outing against Leicestershire.
