Cricket: Back Bravo for all-round performance.

Byline: James Milton

DWAYNE BRAVO Dwayne James John Bravo (born 7 October, 1983 in Trinidad and Tobago) is a West Indian cricketer. A genuine all-rounder, Bravo is expected to play a significant role in attempts by the West Indies to return to international prominence in the sport.  is an all-action cricketer who rarely has a quiet game for the West Indies West Indies, archipelago, between North and South America, curving c.2,500 mi (4,020 km) from Florida to the coast of Venezuela and separating the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico from the Atlantic Ocean. , writes James Milton.

Bravo has matured into a top ODI all-rounder and he picks up regular wickets with his medium-pace bowling.

The Windies' series against Sri Lanka Sri Lanka (srē läng`kə) [Sinhalese,=resplendent land], formerly Ceylon, ancient Taprobane, officially Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, island republic (2005 est. pop.  was affected by the weather but the first ODI did go the distance and Bravo's performance made up at 126.

That included a career-best haul of 4-32, and Bravo's consistency with the ball - and in the field - means buyers usually escape without much damage even if he fails with the bat.

Coming in at No. 5, behind experienced duo Ramnaresh Sarwan and Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Bravo should have a decent platform on which to play his shots.

His last two appearances at St Vincent have made up at 47 - in a losing cause against Pakistan - and 40, despite a firstball duck.
