Cricket: Buy session runs; Sports Betting.

A FIRST-innings lead of over 100 runs is projected by the spread firms, who expect to see New Zealand turn the screw on day three at Old Trafford, writes Steve Davies.

The Kiwis, 128 for two at the close, get a 305-325 runs quote, and given the ease with which their batsmen played on a pitch prone to misbehave, and the length of their batting order - all 11 of their side have scored first-class hundreds - buyers could yet send the line higher.

England's bowling was certainly below par, and with Black Cap leader Stephen Fleming insisting his team must press on this morning after losing time on Thursday, a buy of Sporting's first session runs at 70 is suggested.

They rattled up 40 off their first 11 overs up to the tea interval yesterday, and another 88 in the session up to the close.

England, who were 13-14.5 with IG on their 25 Test index despite the drubbing they took at Lord's, are now a pitiful 5.5-7.
