One man, in his 60s, was given oxygen at the scene before being taken to hospital as a precaution. The flames resulted in fire damage to the kitchen and smoke damage throughout the home. Stockton fire station watch manager Mick Pennick said: "It was oil and fat in a pan on the oven which set fire to the kitchen. It took us around 30 minutes to deal with the whole incident." |
