In addition, Crew continues to examine numerous additional geophysical signatures with the purpose of defining further targets.

2000 Exploration Results

A detailed review of airborne geophysical data from 10,300 line-km covering more than 2,000 sq. km area, led to the recognition of numerous geophysical signatures. Many of these signatures were located in areas with significant overburden o·ver·bur·den

The summer 2000 follow-up included ground geophysics (MAG/VLF/HLEM) and deep soil geochemistry geochemistry, study of the chemical changes on the earth. More specifically, it is the study of the absolute and relative abundances of chemical elements in the minerals, soils, ores, rocks, water, and atmosphere of the earth and the distribution and movement of  which indicated the presence of consistent base metal anomalies in areas with coinciding magnetic and electromagnetic responses.

The four targets selected to date are as follows:

Roros #1

Roros #1 reports a strong soil geochemical anomaly of up to 800 ppm zinc, and suggests potential for a (plus)400 m strike length through geophysical and geochemical anomalies.

Roros #2

Roros #2 has a clear geophysical anomaly with a 2 km strike length in an area with few outcrops. The anomaly projects toward a deeper target near a former copper mine.

Roros #3

Roros #3 demonstrates a 2 km combined geophysical and geochemistry anomaly located in direct strike continuation of the old Klinkenberg mine.

Klinkenberg

The historical Klinkenberg mine remains one of the most intriguing occurrences in the district. This mine, which targeted copper sulfides Copper sulfides describe a family of chemical compounds and minerals with the formula CuxSy. Both minerals and synthetic materials comprise these compounds. Some copper sulfides are economically important ores. , was never put into commercial production due primarily to its high zinc content. No drilling has ever been carried out on this property, and the occurrence shows 300 m outcropping massive sulfides, with zinc contents up to 30% and significant amounts of copper. Roros Background

The historical Roros mining district of Norway produced copper for over 300 years, until 1977 when production was terminated. Throughout this time, mining focused on copper even though the zinc content in the Roros mines was up to 20 times greater than copper. Zinc rich portions of the former mines and prospects were avoided due to lack of modern flotation technology.

In 1998, Crew investigated the zinc potential in this area, and claimed all prospects and most of the former producing mines located within a 3,000 square kilometer area covering the Roros and the Meraker districts. All accessible prospects and old mines were visited, sampled and studied, and a detailed geophysical ground survey was also conducted over a selected number of targets.
