Crew's tall (ship) stories.


A CREW of first-time sailors made a spectacular return to Merseyside by tall ship.

The group of 48 young men and women from Wirral spent nine days aboard the 60metre Sail Training From its modern interpretations to its antecedents when maritime nations would send young naval officer candidates to sea (e.g., see Outward Bound), sail training provides an unconventional and effective way of building many useful skills on and off the water.  Association's Prince William.

They started their 700-mile adventure in Portsmouth, continued across the Channel to France, and returned back along the west coast of England.

The tall ship has a total of 18 sails, with nearly nine miles Nine Miles is a reggae "band" started by Yoshiaki Manabe (真鍋吉明) of The Pillows. The name Nine Miles comes from the name of the town in which Bob Marley grew up in Jamaica.

The force area is 647 square kilometres with a population of around 1.5 million. At present the force has 4,466 police officers plus over 2,000 police staff.
 because they had contributed positively to their communities, shown good citizenship or overcome adversity.

Only those who had not been convicted of a criminal offence were eligible to apply.

The aim of the scheme is to reward and encourage good behaviour, and enable the young crew to learn teamwork and nautical nau·ti·cal

 skills. It is hoped enough sponsorship will be raised next year to charter two tall ships.
