Creswell man arrested again on drug charges.

CRESWELL - A Creswell man has been arrested for the third time in 17 months on charges that he manufactures and sells a highly potent form of methamphetamine.

 Narcotics narcotics n. 1) techinically, drugs which dull the senses. 2) a popular generic term for drugs which cannot be legally possessed, sold, or transported except for medicinal uses for which a physician or dentist's prescription is required.  Enforcement Team arrested 51-year-old Patrick Gable Chiodo on Sunday afternoon after the raid at his home at 82514 Green Valley St., Eugene police Sgt. Lee Thoming said. Inside, they found two ounces of "ice" methamphetamine and more than $5,300 in cash, Thoming said.

Chiodo was arrested in June after agents raided the Green Valley Street home and a separate property in Drain where he reportedly was starting a rehabilitation rehabilitation: see physical therapy.  ranch for teen-age drug addicts. Drug team officers said they found methamphetamine labs at both locations. Police said they believed that he was using the concept of the "Positive Choice Ranch" to raise money to support his drug business. A Lane County grand jury is reviewing the case for possible criminal indictment.

 manufacturing and sales. At the time, police said Chiodo told officers he was selling the drugs to raise money for the ranch.

He currently is awaiting trial on those charges.
