Crest joins congressional leaders to prevent oral disease.
* Representatives Jeb Bradley (R-NH) and Tom Allen (D-ME) have
introduced a bipartisan oral health resolution in the U.S. House of
Representatives. The resolution calls for increased access to oral
health care services and improved preventative strategies to curb
long-term oral disease. Since the inception of Crest Healthy Smiles, the
program has served 25 million at-risk children and their families
through partnerships with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and the
American Dental Association to provide children with low or no-cost
dental care. It has also created 10 full-service dental clinics (Crest
Smile Shoppes); dental vans managed by university dental programs; and
an in-school curriculum that reaches 90% of first graders in the U.S.
