) announced the creation of an Industry Specific Virtual Private Network (ISVPN). The first ISVPN, BLUEGATE, a division of Crescent, is a unique end-to-end telecommunications infrastructure targeted for the medical industry. Also in development are service sets targeted for the banking and financial community and the legal profession. Crescent will provide a secure channel of Internet communication for these market segments free from risk of interception or unauthorized transmission.

BLUEGATE will be launched in Houston, home of the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical complex in the world.
