) today announced that Jeanette I. Rice has joined the capital markets team as vice president, market research effective October 6, 2003. Ms. Rice's responsibilities will include providing investment strategy, comparative market analysis, portfolio and transaction support, and other related support for Crescent's capital markets activities.

"Jeanette brings extensive expertise in both Crescent's markets as well as all major national markets," said John C. Goff, Crescent Vice Chairman and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. . "She will be a tremendous addition to both our strategic analysis and institutional funds management initiatives."

Prior to joining Crescent, Ms. Rice served as a principal and senior research member for Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, Inc. She has also served as a senior managing director, research for Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, LP. Ms. Rice has 21 years experience in analyzing national and regional real estate property markets, capital markets, and economies. Her research has covered every region in the U.S., and she has earned national stature in her field of real estate market economics.
