Creinch win no surprise to Harris after lengthy absence; BANGOR-ON-DEE.

MILTON HARRIS Milton Harris can refer to any of the following people:
  • Milton Harris (scientist) (1906-1991) (no middle name) was the founder of the Harris Research Laboratories and a former chairman of the National Academy of Sciences Board of Directors.
  • Milton E.
 brought Creinch back from a 514-day absence to land the 2m4f handicap hurdle.

Creinch had been off with a tendon tendon, tough cord composed of closely packed white fibers of connective tissue that serves to attach muscles to internal structures such as bones or other muscles.  injury, but he is held in high regard by his Banbury trainer and showed why by powering away under David Crosse after the last, belying odds of 25-1.

Harris said: "I fancied him. He looks a picture and everyone in the yard has backed him. I think he could be a 130 horse over fences, he's that good. We'll go novice chasing now."

Noel Fehily stole the riding honours with a 9-1 double courtesy of Sullumo in the opening novice hurdle, and Montevideo in the novice chase.

Sullumo, trained by in-form Charlie Mann, got favourite backers off to the perfect start when staying on strongly to get the better of to obtain an advantage over; to surpass; to subdue.

Mann said: "He split a bone in his back schooling after he won here last time.

He was unbeaten on the Flat, he's had only five runs in his life, and he'll be put away for another season of hurdling."

Montevideo looked to have a mountain to climb when ten lengths down and seemingly going nowhere in the novice chase, but he sprouted sprout

One Sniff looks to have been brought right back to his best by trainer Nicky Richards after his impressive success in the 3m handicap chase.

The John Hales-owned nine-year-old has had an injury-ravaged career but could have been called the winner a long way out under a confident Fearghal Davis. He looks ahead of the handicapper hand·i·cap·per
