The WINCCS II computer sytem incorporates several discreet functions into one comprehensive system with computer control and data acquisition for creep/stress rupture test labs. Designed for testing plastics and other materials, WINCCS II is said to replace outdated temperature controllers, LVDT signal conditioners and data acquisition systems. It accommodates either an oven or furnace, depending upon specimen requirements. Other options allow for displacement transducers and digital linear encoders. WINCCS II can control from one to 100 or more testers to a common Windows NT compatible computer. The system is also compliant with ASTM standards E4, E8, E83, E139, E292, E633 and similar requirements. Safety and security are also a priority with the WINCCS II system, according to the company. Specifically, test frames are isolated from host computer failure, and security measures include multilevel access with password protection.
