Creekstone Farms Premium Beef Announces the Appointment of Dennis Buhlke as President and CEO.

ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Creekstone Farms Premium Beef ("Creekstone") today announced that it has appointed Dennis Buhlke as its President and CEO effective immediately. Creekstone, an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, Inc. ("Sun Capital"), is a leading marketer and processor of all natural, premium Black Angus beef. Buhlke will replace William McSwain, Interim CEO since October 2006, who will remain as a consultant to facilitate the transition.

Dennis Buhlke has more than 27-years experience in general management and executive operating positions in the beef processing industry, having most recently served from 2001 to the present as President of Harris Ranch Beef Company, Selma, California, one of the largest vertically-integrated beef producers and processors in the U.S. Previous to Harris, he served as the West Coast Director - Meat Operations for Golden State Foods, City of Industry, California, a diversified foodservice supplier of meat products, bakery goods, produce, and other services, and from 1980 to 1996, he held senior operating positions with Monfort, Inc. (purchased by ConAgra and now operating as Swift, Inc.) in various meat processing and production facilities.
