Credit Suisse First Boston Initiates Coverage

of AnswerThink Consulting Group with a Buy rating

Credit Suisse First Boston Technology Group research analysts Mark Wolfenberger and Wayne Segal initiated coverage today of AnswerThink Consulting Group (ANSR) with a Buy rating and a $40 price target. EPS estimates for F4Q99 and FY00 are $0.13 and $0.69, respectively.

Wolfenberger and Segal set their $40 price target, up 46% from current levels, based on 5x estimated CY00 revenues (significant discount to peer group at 10-20x). They believe that further upside to target exists as quarterly results validate integration & success in marketplace. "The combination of ANSR/THNK creates a formidable company in the E-biz market with all necessary skills including strategy, creative & deep tech expertise," wrote the analysts in a research note issued this morning. "We believe ASNR is especially well positioned as industry shifts from building stand alone e-commerce applications to re-architecting business processes for new digital economy."

Wolfenberger and Segal also believe AnswerThink is increasingly focused on building trading communities (E-visa, World Commerce online, etc.) offering significant ongoing revenue opportunities as initial projects spawn additional work with trading partners, suppliers, distributors, etc. They think that the company's unique benchmarking group provides in-depth industry knowledge, continual updates on global trends & a growing base of potential new customers.
