-- Conference materials distributed on a CD-ROM. Company profiles,
analyst bios, financial models - all delivered in an easy-to-use
interface with point and click navigation built in Adobe Acrobat
format. (For those who may be technically challenged, a
traditional hard copy was reluctantly printed! The huge book --
with a four-inch spine and weighing in at eight pounds -- is a
bit more unwieldy than the CD-ROM.) With direct web links, better
indexing, quick access to directories and the ability to zoom in
on small type, the CD Rom delivery format is far more functional
     than print.

-- A conference website. The site includes all the same data as the

updated to reflect program changes, summaries of presentations,
     etc.

-- A live audio webcast of all the presentations, available via the
     conference website.

of which sync with Microsoft Outlook. The Jornada features sound
input and output. It supports Audible spoken audio and MP3 music.
Digital color photos can be downloaded and personalized with

switch quickly between applications, Internet faxing and Pocket
Excel spreadsheet formatting. CSFB preloaded the device for each
attendee with the conference schedule and a database of all the
     companies at the conference.

-- 50 conference attendees were loaned a new Citrix-based wireless
device from Compaq for connecting to the Web -- essentially a
wireless, very mobile (only weighs three pounds) laptop computer
-- with an ASP server farm from FutureLink and a wireless network
from Breezecom. So from any one of the conference rooms,
attendees can access the conference website (or any other
website) market data and other mission critical applications.

-- Sony flat panel displays were mounted throughout the conference
area. The high resolution, AC-type plasma screens provide cable
television news, bridge stock quotes and market reports as well
     as a digital photo display.

-- IP telephony phone booths produced by Cisco and Clarent, allow
attendees to make phone calls via the Internet; and if attendees
want to log onto the Web and phone simultaneously, they can use
one of InfoGear's Internet screenphones, the iPhone.

-- And since the networking goes on after hours, the late night

interface to locate songs by genre or artist.
